The ‘Druide’ from Loire, Didier Chaffardon is an experimenter in his little lair outside Angers, Loire. He produces uncompromising wines, straight in their boots, with temperament; wines that have volume and momentum. The harvests are naturally done manually for a better respect of the quality of the grape. In terms of winemaking, the wines are neither yeast nor fined nor chaptalised and above all, Didier lets them take their time because you don't get the exceptional by rushing things.
