Emmanuelle and Olivier created the Domaine Vinci in 2001 in Estagel after having fallen in love with the diversity of the terroirs of the Agly valley and the native grape varieties. Today, the 6 hectares of old vines are scattered over several communes in Roussillon: Espira de l'Agly, Cases de Pène, Opoul and Peyrestortes. The plots are isolated and surrounded by rocky outcrops and pine forests. The vines and soils are gently worked with very little plowing and treatment. The grape variety is composed of Muscat Petit Grain, Macabeu, Grenache Blanc, Gris and Noir, Lledoner Pelut, Mourvèdre and century-old Carignan. Each cuvée bears the name of the plot from which the grapes come. The harvest is manual and takes place in the morning in small crates. In the cellar, the wines are aged in stainless steel vats to best preserve the fruity side and the bottling is carried out without filtration and without added sulphur.
